At Red Oaks Radio, we define "membership" in the simplest and most welcoming way possible: **if you're sharing time with us, you're a member of our community.**

The Practical Definition of Membership

Whether you're joining a meeting for the first time, checking in on the repeater from I-75, or participating in a club activity for an afternoon, you are one of us! Our focus is on shared learning, camaraderie, and having fun with radio.

Instant Membership: Joining our net or attending a meeting is all it takes to be considered a member of the Red Oaks Radio community.
No Dues or Requirements: We don't require fees or any formal commitment to participate.
A Community for a Moment or a Lifetime: You are welcome to join us for a single minute or stay connected for the rest of your amateur radio journey.

Formal Status: Supporting Our Club License (KW4RO)

While our community is informal, our structure exists to support the official **KW4RO Club Station Call Sign**. To meet Federal Communications Commission (FCC) requirements, we maintain formal by-laws, officers, and a basic membership roster.

This formal status ensures Red Oaks Radio is a legitimate, recognized organization, allowing us to maintain our repeaters and participate in various official amateur radio activities.
